GIOL Luisa Merlot & strawberry trifle. Lovely!

GIOL Luisa Merlot Spumante Extra Dry 2014, 11% abv, £9.99
This is a delightful 100% merlot rose with delicate bubbles. Overly fizzy when poured in the glass, the fizz soon settles to effuse a non sweet sherbet nose. The palate is dry with hints of strawberry.

Wild Thing Organic Rose 2014 Spain, 12.5% abv, £7.85
Fruity tempranillo grapes boast, red fruit – think strawberry, cranberry and raspberry on the palate. A soft finish follows and mixes with the delicate rose nose. Great to drink on it own or with vegetarian dishes. Every bottle bought from the Wild Thing range helps save endangered species like buffalo, tiger, wolves, and gorillas, through donations made to the Born Free foundation.

Wild Thing Organic Rose & Meinklang Organic Pinot Noir

Wild Thing Organic Rose & Meinklang Organic Pinot Noir

Meinklang Organic Pinot Noir Frizzante Prosa, Austria, 10.5% abv, £11.95
This is a gorgeous sparkling wine, made with pinot noir grapes grown on a biodynamic wine estate. We found the taste experience harmoniously ripe with red fruit and pleasantly balanced between sweet and dry, no doubt in part to the nutritious, rich fertiliser provided by the Angus cows roaming the Meinklang vineyards. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
