Cordoniu Vintage Rosada 2009 12% abv

Vintage Rosada

Colour – blush rose. Taste - refreshing and fruity, made from the pinot noir grape and local macabeo, Xarel Lo and monastrell. The latter three varieties are common in the production of Cava and give a slightly acidic overtone. This wine’s immediate top notes are of red berries and citrus, which give way to a long finish resembling apples. Great as an aperitif or with tapas. Cordoniu Pinot Noir Brut 12%abv
Pinot Noir Brut

This sparkling 100% pinot noir wine is made using grapes from the oldest planting of Pinot Noir in Spain. The colour is salmon pink. Inside the wine is bursting with juicy strawberry, raspberry and cherry fruit flavours, even a hint of blackberry. Once again this delicious wine can be drunk as an aperitif or with light fish dishes.

Raimat Abadia Rosé 2010 12% abv

Tempranillo

 

This is the only still wine in this selection. It is made from cabernet sauvignon and tempranillo - D.O. Colour – soft rose. Taste - a strictly red fruit overtoned wine. The taste is more ‘acidic’ than the other two, and with bolder citrus overtones so this drink may be better paired with stronger flavoured or more robust dishes such as oily dish. RRP £7.49.
