Frontcover Cool Eyes Hot Lips

Not wanting to mention the C word too soon (Xmas) but looking at this fantastic palette from Frontcover you’d be forgiven for thinking it would make an amazing gift.  Let’s take a walk through the palette and swatch the colours.

Eyes

10 lovely baked eyeshadows in very wearable colours, easy to blend and harmonise.  These aren’t strongly pigmented colours so you get a subtle finish, not to much shimmer just neutral shades for everyday wear.  The top row colours are reminiscent of colours from the Naked Palette – Virgin, Sin, Half Baked and Naked whereas the bottom half has a few punchier colours such as a pretty but neutral aubergine and a gunmetal grey.

Lips

For those of you who want to experiment with colour – from peaches, corals and oranges to pinks and soft reds, there’s a lipstick here to suit every occasion and skintone.  I loved the creamy consistency of the formula and the brightness of the colour.   I think the pink and the corals are my favourite as they are very wearable.
