Top chocolatier Godiva has recently released Dark Chocolate Truffle biscuits, which are essentially heart shaped biscuits with a chocolate topping. And with 12 bite size pieces per box there’s plenty for sharing. Wrapping consists of luscious gold foil stamped with romantic city references, so indulge and be transported to a faraway place. Available in Milk Chocolate Strawberry, Dark Chocolate Truffle (see image) and Hazelnut Praline, £7 per box. Larger gift boxes are also available.

The name Godiva is synonymous with luxury and prestige and stems from the first praline chocolates crafted by Pierre Draps senior in Brussels, 1926.
