South Ridge Cuvee Merret Rose 2009 United Kindgdom Sussex 12.5% abv

We’re delighted to bring you a British contender among our pack. This sparkler is produced in west Sussex and the result is a wine packed full of cherries and plums. The fizz gives it a cheerful lift which we think you’ll agree is great as an aperitif. Buy for £16.99.

Il Papavero Papaverone – from Italy, Sicilia IGT, 15% abv.

The Optimist old vine Semillon 2011  Australia, South Eastern, 13% abv
