The winds of fashion are extremely fickle. What’s bang on trend one year might look laughably old hat just twelve months later. But amidst all of this tumultuous change, a few items can be relied upon to retain their appeal. With a few classic bits of jewellery, like a pair of quality diamond earrings, that can be relied upon to look the part.

Blazer 

A blazer has the virtue of being flexible; it’ll pair nicely with a professional office setup, as well as working well if you’re heading for a casual night at the pub. Ideally, you want it to come to just above the hip. Alternatively, you could try a longer style for a modern take on a classic piece if you’re feeling adventurous!

Little Black Dress

Every woman’s wardrobe should include at least one little black dress. It’s something that suits just about everyone nicely, and it pairs nicely with just about everything. As such, it’s perfect for those occasions where you can’t figure out quite what to wear for a specific occasion.

Of course, most of us have several pairs of boots to choose from (and, if we’re honest, several more than that). This isn’t, strictly speaking, a timeless trend, as there are myriad different varieties of boot to choose from, each one falling in and out of style as the seasons come and go. Leather riding boots have been consistently fashionable for a while now, because they tend to go with just about everything. A pair of quality jeans should form part of everyone’s wardrobe. While lighter shades have their place, it’s dark wash that’ll stand the test of time. If you want something with longevity, then avoid denim with fading or holes and elaborate patterns. They might look on-trend for a few months, but they tend to date pretty quickly. Just look at the styles from a few years ago if you need convincing.

Plain White Shirt

The plain-white t shirt is another classic to round off the list. V-necks tend to work with a range of body-types, and it can be fun finding a style that works best for you and compliments your shape. Pair it with a scarf, a pair of jeans, or just about everything else. If you find a white t-shirt that you love, then make an investment and buy three or four of them in bulk.
