Colgate announce most intuitive toothbrush yet

This is a special tooth brush as it will automatically adjust and engage different speeds depending on the position it is held in your mouth!  For example a mid speed massage setting is applied for the gumline, a slower side to side stroke for teeth surfaces and fast up and down strokes for molars.  It also has a two minute timer to ensure you are cleaning your teeth for the recommended time (by dentists)  You can also choose the “optimum” setting and there’s a rather powerful deep clean setting if needed.  There’s also a very handy wee travel box to keep it clean and hygienic.

The claim is that it effectively reduces five times more plaque along the gumline than a manual, flat trim toothbrush.

Well this is my first electric toothbrush and my current one was a manual, flat trim brush!  I can certainly say my teeth feel cleaner, there’s a definite difference between me putting the work in to clean my teeth and a brush head that delivers up to 32,500 per minute!

I was having tartar problems recently and the bit behind my lower bottom teeth was actually hurting but switching my toothpaste over to a tartar control paste and holding the brush on it for the recommended area (the toothbrush will tell you when it’s time to move on – how awesome!)

The Colgate ProClinical A1500 is available from and most Boots stores.  The RRP is £169.99 but you can pick it up along with some advantage points for £84.99 in store.  Online it’s even better – you can buy it for £72.24 HERE

Here’s a little video of it in action;
