Ligten Up Your Summer Wth Banrock Station’s Easydrinking Range
Ladies, ladies (and gents), please! Before you berate me that summer is practically over, let me tell you one thing. Just because it isn’t bright and light outside, doesn’t mean it can’t be so inside.
When it comes to summer drinking, Banrock Station leads the way with a selection of still and sparkling ‘lights’. These crisp and light wines are great at any time of the year but especially appealing during the warmer months. Choose from a still, light variety of the fuller culled from its more robust counterpart, or from the regular strength sparking wine. These wines are ‘light’ because of their lower alcohol content.
The knock on benefits are immediately obvious i.e. better for your health and waistline – (Banrock’s Station light rose is only 60 calories per glass). A lighter ABV in no way compromises the taste or quality of the wine, as good quality ‘base wines’ are used in the initial winemaking process. Combine that with attractive packaging and a reasonable price, and you have all the ingredients to get your girls’ night out (or in) off to a flying start. The ‘light’ wines retail at £5.45 in Tesco.
Banrock Station Shiraz Rose
At £8.99 this sparkling wine is a little pricier than the rest of Banrock’s easy drinking light wines. However the extra outlay is more than outweighed by the burst of cherries and red fruit which lingers on the palate long after drinking. This wine is not only delicious and very moreish, it will appeal to drinkers of both whites and reds alike. Get it at your local Waitrose.
