Winter skincare goodies

This is the time of year when our skin needs extra help.  Nourishing and rejuvenating products that are gentle but effective are just what is needed after standing waiting for a bus or a train in the cold, snowy, wintery British Weather!

The absolute classic Eve Lom Cleanser is top of my list, it makes my skin feel amazing as using the muslin cloth to buff off the product creates a gentle exfoliate.

Bodhi’s Rose Rejuvenating oil is a great dry area fixer or for those of you with dry and mature skin~an all over skin treat 🙂  Totally organic.

Lavera Faces Wild Rose : New Organic Intensive Care Liposome Cream  Another rich and luxurious day cream, giving your skin what it needs in cold, blustery and snowy conditions.  Perfect as a nourishing treat for severely dry skin types or as a regenerating night cream

Origins Make A Difference™ Plus+ ~ A new product from the mighty Origins, designed for super~dry skin, ideal for the winter months when you need to intensify your skincare.

Institut Esthederm Hydra System is a daily moisturiser ideal for the winter months or for dry skin all year round. Rich and luxurious.

Elemis Exotic Cream Moisturising Mask  ~ to give your skin a boost when needed.  Recommended use is a couple of times a week or in a  thin layer overnight for ultra moisture boosting!  You can buy this as part of a lovely duo from QVC including the beautiful Rose Exfoliator.

EOS Lemon Drop Lip Balm ~ I love this handy wee container and the shape of the product inside makes it easy to apply to lips and it’s not sticky or over “balmy”  just perfect nourishment for your skin.  You can purchase this from Big Green Smile and comes in Honeysuckle Honeydew, Summer Fruit, Sweet Mint and Tangerine but I ordered the Lemon one as it was the only one with SPF in it (for skiing!)

Murad AHA Exfoliator.  It’s especially important to exfoliate in the winter months as dry patches can accumulate and make skin look dull and patchy.  Keep a good exfoliator on hand ~ this one is my current favourite as it’s extremely gentle.
