Four Beauty Sleep Tips for Better Skin and Hair

Your beauty routine may not be the first thing on your mind when you go to bed, but the hours you spend snoozing play an important part in improving your appearance. Adopting the right nighttime habits will not only improve your health and help you feel better, but you’ll look healthier and younger, too.

#1. Sleep on a Satin Pillowcase:

Cotton pillowcases may be easier to find, but they can leave you waking up with your hair knotted and tangled, causing your locks to break and split throughout the night. If you’re always waking up with frizzy and unruly hair, consider switching to a satin or silk pillowcase instead. Not washing your bedding often means that you’re resting your face on bacteria nests for eight hours every night! You may be able to get away with changing your duvet cover and sheet less often, but make sure that your pillowcases are changed at least twice per week.
