Neuro Drinks – Just 37 Calories per bottle

By  |  2 Comments

The first completely functional drinks brand to hit UK shelves following great success in the States, and which are enjoying a loyal celebrity following by the likes of Sharon and Kelly Osbourne, Elton John, Tamara Mellon, Cindy Crawford, Kate Hudson, Paris Hilton, Hayden Panettiere and many others.

I was given the opportunity to sample the full range and I must say, they are very delicious.  The Sporty one is sweet without being loaded with glucose syrup (like others in its market) the Bliss is relaxing and calming (it contains chamomile!) and Sonic has caffeine for an extra kick if you don’t want to drink coffee.  Trim tasted nice – but didn’t have the longer term overview as to whether it would make a difference on my waistline!  Although 37 calories is more than acceptable for the entire bottle and miles better for you than the nutritionally void diet fizzy drinks on the market.

The NeuroDrinks range has been specially formulated to meet today’s demanding 24/7 lifestyle. The four blends give an easy delivery system of essential nutrients that help to enhance health and well-being. They have been formulated by nutritionists and each contain essential vitamins, minerals, amino acids and botanicals at optimal dosages backed by scientific research to promote health and well-being.

Neuro recently launched in Britain with the following four blends:

NeuroSonic – containing just 37 calories, it provides healthy energy for the mind and body. The primary ingredient in NeuroSonic is green tea which helps increase mental function and concentration levels, in turn helping to promote learning and alertness, physical and mental performance and healthy brain function.

NeuroTrim – helps support active weight loss and contains just 37 calories. The drink’s key functional ingredient is Luralean, a highly viscous form of fibre that is non-absorbable and expands temporarily in the stomach to send a message to the brain that the body is satiated. The effect lasts for up to six hours after drinking NeuroTrim, helping to control appetite throughout the day. Luralean also provides digestive health benefits

NeuroBliss – is known as ‘happiness in a bottle’ for its mood enhancing mix of ingredients which support healthy mood and relieve stress. This benefit is derived from the primary functional ingredient, Acetyl L-Carnitine, which is associated with cognitive function and anti-aging because of its effects on neurotransmitters in the brain, and its antioxidant and cognitive properties. Other ingredients work together to restore happiness: Chamomile, Ginkgo Biloba and Siberian Ginseng. It contains just 37 calories.

NeuroSport – is a re-hydrating mineral beverage, which also contains just 37 calories and which is designed to replace key electrolytes and minerals lost during exercise or competition. Key minerals are included in NeuroSport to help facilitate muscle tissue repair prior to exercise, and unlike other sports beverages, NeuroSport supplies four key electrolytes – sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium  in amounts optimal for exercise performance.

Each blend in the range contains just 37 calories and are available in the UK in Waitrose, Harrods and Selfridge’s, RRP £1.79.
