Make the rest of your summer sparkle with Piper Heindsieck Rose Champagne!

From summer garden parties and weddings to celebratory evenings and gatherings with friends – there’s nothing quite like a glass of champagne to get the proceedings off with a bang!

Don’t settle for cheap alternatives though – cava bubbles are big and harsh and prosseco is just too sweet – the perfect champagne should have fine bubbles, be dry with the tiniest hint of yeast (although some prefer their champers a bit yeastier as some brands are) and the rose should have gentle berry flavours – the ripe tartness of a raspberry and the gentle cool juiciness of a strawberry.

Piper Heindseick’s Rose Sauvage is just perfect – not only does it embody all those qualities above – but there’s definitely more going on on the palette – mandarin, sloe berries, grapefruit notes can all be detected – albeit subtle, and not overpowering the dominant berry flavours.  So pop your sunglasses on – pop the cork and enjoy Piper Heindsieck Rose Sauvage in the sunshine while you still can!

Don’t forget to keep your cork for luck! – cut a slit and pop a two penny piece inside then wrap the metal cage back around the cork.

Champagne Piper-Heidsieck was founded in 1785 by Florens-Louis Heidsieck. Since its creation, the champagne has always been associated with the greats and the goods; from Marie Antoinette, Queen of France, to Marilyn Monroe, who famously claimed that she that she wears only a few drops of Chanel No. 5 perfume in bed, and begins the morning with a glass of Piper-Heidsieck champagne.
