Although the weather we’re currently experiencing might not be screaming summer to you, it might have tempted you to start planning that summer get away. If your summer holiday is already on your mind, then thinking about your summer wardrobe might be too. It’s never too early to start looking, especially as some items always seem to sell out quite fast! Even if you do buy some of your summer items a little early, spring is always a good time to bring out some pieces and try them out!

Swimwear

It can be quite the challenge trying to find swimwear you love for your holiday and is something you don’t want to leave until the last minute. Those last minute panic shops around all of the stores and online shops can be stressful. Getting this sorted early will not only give you the peace of mind that you have it ready but can also help to motivate you when it comes to those pre-holiday workouts. With hundreds of styles and designs out on the market, it can take a while to find the one that suits you the best and makes you feel your best so get this added to your list asap.

The midi dress

A great piece to have all year round and especially during the summer. Easy to throw on, great paired with sandals and something that works for evenings out or city strolls. Finding one that flatters you and looks stylish can be a challenge but once you find the one, it won’t let you down. Midi dresses can work for women of all ages and can be worn in the UK too during spring and summer, meaning you won’t just wear it once on holiday and forget about it for another year. Bold colours are big this year, so if you’re feeling brave why not try one in a daring red or you could you opt for a classic khaki or black, a timeless option.

Accessories

Items such as sunglasses can really make a summer outfit, they’re incredibly important (make sure you get something with decent UV protection) and you’re going to be wearing them a lot so it’s important to find something that you feel great in. If you wear glasses then it could be worth considering getting prescription sunglasses, with plenty of time before you go away. If you’re good to go with non-prescription then take some time to find a style that suits you, something that will go with most outfits and makes you feel good. Other accessories set to take centre stage this summer include statement earrings, take some inspiration from blogger Hannah Gale, and play around with some different styles and colours to help make your outfit stand out!
