Tranz-mission Rave Festival Is Coming To Finsbury Park

By  |  0 Comments

On Sunday 25th September, the mighty Tranz-mission will take over north London’s Finsbury Park for 10 hours of hardcore dance tunes across multiple stages. This not-to-be-missed event will unite over 12,000 ravers from a wide genre of rave music styles dating back from the late 1980s to the present day.

Main stage
The six main stages are Sun City (UK garage and funky house), One Nation (drum and bass and jungle at its finest), Kool FM (old skool jungle and early drum and bass), Raindance (old skool hardcore), Hardcore Heaven – (throw in a few trance and hard house tunes please), and Acid Trnzmsn and Jenkins Lane (remember those acid tunes from back in the day? They helped shape rave music into what it is today).

Main stage headliners include old skool stalwarts Ratpack, US native Grandmaster Flash, Hardcore DJ and songwriter Harry Styles, and legendary Drum and Bass DJ Hype. UK Garage legends Norris Da Boss Windross and MC Creed will not fail to please. MCs such as Harry Shotta, Moose, Ragga Twins, Storm among others will be rhyming and chiming their lyrics to get you further into the groove.

The ‘veteran’ ravers among you love the chilled Raindance atmosphere, whereas our more ‘energetic’ followers will relish a dnb jump-up in the One Nation tent – oh for those killer nights at what was the Brixton Academy…sigh.

Getting there
There will be multiple entrances to the venue, which is a minute’s walk from Finsbury Park station. The Victoria and Piccadilly tube lines, plus London overground and Great Northern main line serve Finsbury Park, as do numerous buses. It is not recommended to drive, due to parking restrictions on the day. Find out more, including storage locker booking information here.
